6 years ago, on May 17, 2007, I opened the doors to the Earn1KaDay Insiders Club.
At the time I had no idea what would happen, how many would show up or how many would stay.
Well… it’s 6 years later, we have around 700 members, and some that came that first day are still here today, and I’m tremendously grateful for all the good times we’ve had getting from then to now.
As you know, I’ve always considered the people that are inside Earn1KaDay to be my extended family and friends.

Actually, May 16, 2007 was the day the forum first took shape. I set it up, registered myself on that day, and started “washing windows and sweeping floors” for the first paying members expected the next day.
Birthday Celebration
So this Thursday, May 16, we’re celebrating our 6th birthday, and I hope you can help me bring some new members into the Earn1KaDay Insiders Club so that we can help them grow their IM business.
In the last month I’ve been doing more window washing and floor sweeping, trying to make the place fresh, exciting and presentable for not only you, but also for a brand new group of members who will become part of our family.
Here’s what’s been happening:
- I’ve done some minor reorganizing of the forum category structure
- We’re going to be doing a lot more in the way of special events, such as Google Hangouts and web classes. I’m actively seeking members and outside experts to present on various topics, hopefully at least two sessions a month or more, which will be accessible to non-members on Youtube, but members will have the advantage of being able to discuss and suggest the sessions.
- In the near future there will be a Facebook group set up, which will be accessible to non members also, but again, there will be advantages for members, which will likely encourage non-members to join.
- The sales page has been completely revamped. I think it looks much better and much fresher than it did before, so I’m confident that it was time and money well spent. You can see the new sales page here.
- In addition, those who visit the sales page and don’t join will be encouraged to sign up for an email list that will give them lots of reasons to join in the future. Among the benefits of being on the list is a PDF of some of the top forum posts, and a free copy of a brand new 5 Bucks a Day Revisited (junior) book.
- Or course affiliates will be able to encourage IM’ers to view the classes, join the Facebook group, and visit the sales page to take a look and at least join the email list to get the goodies, and they’ll be compensated when people join Earn1KaDay or make a purchase of a product on our site.
There are other things being worked on that I’ll be announcing in the near future as well, including a couple new books, one of which will make it much more likely for someone to make money the first week they’re a member.
But right now, the focus is on the birthday party, and getting more signups for Earn1KaDay!
Between the dates of Thursday, May 16th and Monday, May 27th, new members joining Earn1KaDay will be given something very special as a bonus for signing up for Earn1KaDay.
But first, a trip back in time…
One of the exciting draws for our first group of members back in 2007 was the section of the forum for mini money sites, my own business model at the time that was bringing me a large amount of income from Google Adsense and eBay affiliate commissions.
Many of our initial members gravitated to that method because it was so easy to profit, and some members improved upon my initial mostly manual methods by creating software tools to make things easier.
I can still remember when I did a WSO back in the early years and around 250 people joined us in a week or two. I’d like to see that happen again during the birthday bash.
Unfortunately over the years the ability to profit easily with that business model dried up, but I had stopped well before that happened anyway. As part of the forum reorganization I recently moved that section of the forum to the Golden Oldies section. While it might work for some who think outside the box, it would no longer work the way it originally was set up.
Moving that section to the Golden Oldies section was sort of like the thought of retiring a loved one to a nursing home, I’m afraid.
There’s new opportunities
So now, I want to bring in new excitement for members new and old to profit from.
Obviously Internet marketing is still a profession that has enormous potential for those who learn the skills, keep their nose to the grindstone, think outside the box, and don’t give up.

A transformation
My plan at this point is to not only transform this current coaching program into a different format (for example to take the transcriptions of the audio recordings, edit them, and then prepare Powerpoint presentations and shoot videos, and then there will be not only audio but video and written versions), plus at that point the course will be much different in content.
Most likely the 13 week course will become a bit longer in scope, and those who complete it will be more successful.
So… long story, right?
